About the P&C:
Sunnybank State School's P&C Association extends a warm welcome to our Sunnybank families and wider school community. All volunteer based, our objectives are to work alongside staff, students, parents and members of the community to make improvements for Sunnybank State School and its students.
Aside from also running our school Tuckshop we also fundraise in various ways throughout the year including but not limited to; Discos, Colour Run, Tuckshop Food Days, Raffles, Mother's/Father's Day Stalls and our Community Twilight Market Night. We highly encourage you to join us at our General Meetings and see how you can actively support our strong school community.

Volunteering
Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the school and what's happening behind the scenes whilst mixing with other parents and members of the community. However, in this fast-paced age, volunteering can also take many forms. Some people can give a lot; others have time for just a minute. We encourage you to think of 'Just One Thing' you can commit to and dedicate to the school. No matter what your background, no matter what your skillset, we are all volunteers and all want to see our school and our students succeed. Just one thing can make a difference!
Please note: If you do not have a child currently attending our school you are required to hold a current Blue Card if volunteering onsite.
Donations
We understand that in this current climate not everyone can contribute to our school through volunteering their time, due to work and/or personal commitments. For families that are unable to contribute physically but wish to contribute financially we do accept donations that may aid our fundraising, or items that may be directly donated for the school and students. We also welcome local businesses that wish to support the school via fundraising events throughout the year. If this sounds like something you may be interested in please contact the P&C via email and we would be more than happy to discuss it further with you.
