Sunnybank State School gained Education Queensland International (EQI) accreditation in Term 4 of 2008 and has maintained accreditation since that time.

At Sunnybank Primary we enrol a number of international students each year from countries including China, Taiwan, Korea, United Kingdom, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Indonesia and many more.

The school works in conjunction with Education Queensland International to ensure that these students not only access the school’s curriculum but also participate in specialised programs to enhance their conversational English.
